Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Cruising.

1. What Does My Cruise Fare Include?
* Full Board Plan - (Bridge, Promenade and Deck A-outside cabins)

Fare for Full Board plan includes accommodation, buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and entertainment aboard ship.

* Special Plan - (Deck A-inside and Deck B cabins)

Fare for Special Plan includes accommodation, breakfast only and entertainment aboard the ship.

Two main restaurants are available with nominal fixed price menus and à la carte pricing in addition to the standard dining program. Personal items & incidentals are not included, such as alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, spa treatments, exercise classes, laundry, photographs, ship-to-shore phone, email, Internet, fax, shore excursions and water activities.

2. How Do I Pay for Onboard Expenses?
You will be issued a charge card as check in and all shipboard expenses are charged to this. Just present it at the points of sale after establishing your method of payment with Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Diners Club® or cash. If you choose to settle your account with cash, a deposit will be required in advance. All charges must be cleared before check out.

3. What about Currency?
Local currency is Philippine Peso. Currency exchange at prevailing rates is available on board. We recommend you carry enough currency when visiting ports. Major credit cards are commonly accepted in shops and restaurants in Boracay. Few small establishments accept cards in Calamianes.

4. What are the Customs Allowances?
Foreigners are governed by the customs regulations at the port of entry to the Philippines. There are no custom regulations to worry about in 7107IC's ports of call.

5. How Many Suitcases Can I Bring?
If you are traveling by air, ask the airline about its restrictions. The cabin has limited space for luggage so we recommend you travel light. We also have limited liability for loss, so be sure all baggage and personal belongings are properly labeled and insured. Suitcases should be securely locked and tagged. You should hand-carry medication, jewelry or other valuables and important documents.

6. What About Smoking, Drinking and Gambling on the Ship?
We want you to be safe on board, so all enclosed areas throughout the ship are smoke free. If you smoke, please do so at the open decks and or designated smoking areas.

There is a law that regulates the age for smoking, alcohol consumption and gambling. It is possible that we may not accurately determine the age of the person so the responsibility of observing the law is the parents or guardians. 7107 reserves the right to refuse a person if that the person is not of legal age. There is no casino on board for the time being.

Parents of guardians allowing their minors must complete a Special Consent Form available at the Front Desk.

We encourage responsible use of alcohol and accordingly reserve the right to revoke the drinking privileges of any passenger who violates our Passenger Code of Conduct; or who is deemed a danger to himself, herself or others by vessel management. Continued abuse of alcohol while sailing and/or violation of our alcohol policy may result in immediate disembarkation.

7. What Time is Dinner?
You may order set or a la carte meals in a restaurant anytime. A restaurant will remain open for your very late supper and very early breakfast. When a buffet is served at 7am, food service will remain while the food lasts. Buffet hours will are announced on board. If you wish to join a picnic on the island, you must place a reservation at the front desk at least 8 hours ahead.

8. Will I Have Access to the Internet?
The ship has limited internet connection in Manila and Coron ports only through PLDT WeRoam service. Arrangement to use internet can be made with the front desk.

9. Will I Need an Electrical Converter?
Electric current on board is 220 volts. 2 round holes electrical sockets are used.

10. Do Children Cruise for Free?
Kids 3 years old and under joining two adults in the same cabin are free of charge. 4 to 12 years old kids joining two adults in the same cabin gets 50% discount. Infants under six months of age are not eligible for travel on our ship. Kids' food consumptions are not free.

11. What are the Activities on Board?
Aside from the usual sightseeing, dining, swimming, watching movies and relaxing... passenger may join scheduled activities like bingo, yoga or exercise sessions. Passengers may use the gym on first come first served basis. Cards, board games and mahjong are available upon request.. Live bands play at the cocktail lounge every night. Massage and grooming services can be arranged when the ship is anchored or at port.

12. Are there Children's Programs?
There is no facility like the McDonald's play area on the ship. We recommend that children bring their own game equipment aboard. There are kiddy movies in the movie showing schedule.

13. Are Baby Sitters Available?
Baby sitting is available upon request for a nominal fee. Group sitting if there are multiple requests.

14. Are There Any Pool Regulations?
You must announce to the life guard your presence at the pool before you swim. The absence of a lifeguard means the pool has stopped operation for the day and you are not encouraged to swim. If you are afflicted with disease that can be transmitted in the swimming pool, please refrain from using the pool. No diapers of any kind are permitted in the swimming pools or Jacuzzis, including those marketed as "swimmers."

15. What Other Services are Available?
Beauty parlor and spa services include hair styling, manicures, pedicures, facials and massages can be arranged while in port. The gift shop features fashion jewelry, perfumes, clothing, cosmetics and limited drug store items. Laundry services, photographs taken throughout the cruise, transfer service from and to the airport.

16. What about Passengers with Special Needs?
We require advance notice in order to accommodate them. Need for special care must be announced when placing a reservation. Mobility impaired passengers need to contact us for clear details on their needs due to stairs, gangplanks and othe rship structures that may make access and safety a problem.

17. Is There a Doctor on Board?
A physician and nurse are on board the ship to provide medical care and services at customary charges. Commonly used medications are kept on board and may be prescribed by the physician.

18. What if I'm Pregnant?
We will make every effort to accommodate you, providing you have not entered the 24th week of pregnancy when the cruise ends. Please provide us with a medical certificate establishing your due date prior to your cruise.

19. What Health Precaution should be Observed?
Just as you would do when you visit a new destination, it is best to take a Prophylaxis against Malaria and other Insect bites.

20. What about Shore Excursions?
There is ferry service to and from the shore. Check with the front desk for the schedule. If you want a guided tour of Boracay Island and Coron Town, please specify before boarding.

There is a host of activities you can do in Boracay. The front desk can make arrangements with the service providers for your shore and water activities.

An excursion on Coron Island includes sightseeing and kayaking in Kayangan Lake and Twin Lagoons; a dive at skeleton shipwreck and picnic in Banol Beach. Another excursions include snorkeling at the Siete Pecados marine reserve and a spa dip at the Maquinit salt water hot spring. Island hopping in the Calamianes includes the Ditaytayan and Malcapuya islands. These are private islands owned by the cruise. Here, you can bask at the white sand beaches, swim the clear emerald waters and have a picnic ashore.

Please advise the front desk at least 8 hours ahead if you wish to have a picnic ashore.

21. How Can We Celebrate a Special Occasion?
You may purchase wine, or gifts such as fruit baskets, champagne, birthday cakes, canapés, flowers or other gifts for your room. Please let us know in advance at the time of reservation.

22. What if I Need to Stay in Touch While Away?
Cell phones are convenient but dead spots are experienced while sailing. Smart signal is strong around Ditaytayan and Malcapuya islands. You may recharge cell phone batteries inside your cabin. Make sure to bring a 2-hole round adaptor.

23. What about Tipping?
Passengers are not obliged to offer a gratuity for good service. However, all of our staff are encouraged to "go the extra mile," so they are permitted to accept cash gratuities entirely at the discretion of passengers who wish to acknowledge particular staff for exceptional or outstanding service. In other words, there is genuinely no need to tip but you should feel free to do so if you wish. A typical gratuity is 10%.

Also, certain staff positions provide service on an individual basis to only some passengers. We encourage those passengers to acknowledge good service from these staff members with appropriate gratuities commensurate with services rendered.

24. Documentation, Visas and Passports
All passengers must provide key personal information in advance of sailing. Passengers may fill out the Online Pre-registration or fill out the form when buying the ticket.

25. Where can I Keep My Valuables?
Security envelopes and/or safe deposit boxes are available from the ship's purser at no charge. Please note that 7107 Islands Cruise is not responsible for losses on board.

26. Are Visitors Allowed on Board?
Due to security reasons, unfortunately, no.

27. What is 7107 Island Cruise 1+2 Program?
7107 Islands Cruise rewards repeat passengers with benefits and privileges. At the end of your cruise, you will automatically receive from the Front Desk a certificate for a free cruise if you travel within the next 12 months with two paying passengers.

28. What Should I Pack?
To give you an idea of what to bring, we've got answers to some of your questions like:

Can I wear something casual to dinner? YES

Do people dress up at night? YES

Can I wear my swimsuit day and night? WITH APPROPRIATE COVERINGS

Daytime, since you're probably headed to the pool or out for a fun shore excursion, casual shorts, jeans, tops and sundresses are welcome everywhere. You can wear your swimsuit to the poolside grill or the buffet. We recommend that you be ready to get wet whenever coming aboard or going ashore.

Resort casual dress gets you into every venue at night too. Some people like to add a jacket, or when celebrating a special occasion, get all decked out. This too is welcome. And if you're tired from a long fun day and just want to wear shorts - that is fine. It's your vacation so dress comfortably and you'll find a venue that suits your style.

Don't forget to bring a convenient bag packed with a change of clothes, prescriptions and need-to-have items for shore excursions or just in case is a you need to have your suitcase picked up the night before you check out.

29. What Can't I Bring Onboard?
Passengers are not allowed to bring on board without the previous written permission of the Carrier: any food, intoxicating liquors, or beverages, firearms, weapons of any kind, ammunition, explosive substances or any goods of a dangerous nature, nor animals of any kind, except service or guide animals, provided the passenger notifies Carrier prior to the cruise of his intention to bring such animal and agrees to take sole responsibility for any expense, damage, injuries or losses associated with or caused by such animal.

30. What are 7107 Island Cruise's Age Requirements?
There is a law that regulates the age for smoking, alcohol consumption and gambling. It is possible that we may not accurately determine the age of the person so we leave the responsibility of observing the law to the parents or guardians.

Kids 3 years old and under sharing cabin with two adults are free of charge. Kids 4 to 12 sharing same cabin with two adults pay on 50%. Infants under six months of age are not eligible for travel on our ship. Courtesies apply to cabin accommodation only.

Note: Two people under the age of 21 may travel together in the same room without someone over the age of 21 in the same cabin if they purchased the cruise under the family plan and have at least one person who is 21 years or older in the nearby cabin. The age limit will be waived for married couples less than 21 years of age provided proof of marriage is presented.

31. What Time Do I Board the Ship on Embarkation Day and in Ports of Call?

Arrival at the Cruise Terminal:
We recommend that passengers arrive at the cruise terminal two (2) hours prior to the scheduled embarkation time printed on your cruise documents. Because of security regulations, passengers may not be allowed to enter the cruise terminal prior to the scheduled boarding time. Consider avoiding waiting in potentially inclement weather as the waiting area outside and inside the cruise terminal could be limited.

Final Boarding Time:
In order to facilitate the embarkation process and the processing of your documents, passengers are requested to complete the online Pre-registration form as soon as possible to comply with the government regulations governing departure manifest.

If not possible to do it online, fill out the form when buying the ticket. Or just make sure to complete pre-registration prior to day of sailing. Passengers are requested to be onboard the ship no later than one (1) hour prior to the departure time noted on their cruise documents or they will not be permitted to sail.

Any late arriving passenger may join the ship at an approved port of call in the scheduled itinerary. Such passenger will be responsible for all applicable fees and travel expenses to that subsequent port of call.

Boarding Time in Ports of Call:
In all ports of call, it is also the passenger's responsibility to be back onboard the ship no later than one (1) hour prior to the ship's scheduled departure time. Please be aware that shipboard time may differ from the port of call and it is the passenger's responsibility to follow the shipboard time. In the event a passenger misses the ship, it will be the passenger's responsibility to pay all expenses incurred to rejoin the ship.

Boarding Terminal:
You will be advised at reservation which terminal to take to board for your cruise. On some occasions, the ship may be anchored at the sea at boarding time in which case, you will be transported by a small vessel from the terminal or shore to the ship.

Trip to the islands will be via small vessels. Please get ready to be wet.

32. Can I extend or shorten my selected cruise? Where can I board the ship? How do I fly back?
Yes. But there would be no refund for a shortened cruise. You will also pay your extension in advance. In fact, you can board any day anywhere the ship is. You can catch the ship either in Boracay or in Coron. You will take care of the cost of airfare as you would on other cruises.

In Boracay, there are flights in and out of Caticlan Airport. They can be heavily booked during peak seasons like Holy Week, New Year's week and Chinese New Year's week. In Coron, you can fly from the Francisco Reyes Airport. Most flights are in the morning with few flights dearting in the afternoon. It is best that you arrange your flight schedule with your airline as you book your cruise.

33. What is the Fuel Surcharge?
If you take a two-leg cruise, you will not have to pay the PhP2,500 fuel surcharge per person. If you take only one cruise leg, you will be charged. Manila to Boracay is one leg; Boracay to Coron is another and Coron to Puerto Galera to Manila is still another one.

34. Can I Book via the Internet?

Full Name, Number of persons travelling, landline and cellular phone numbers, date and place of boarding and the date and place of disembarkation.)
